Profile of specialization
Plastics (almost) always play a role in medical technology. In the plastics technology specialization, students learn about the entire spectrum of plastics technology.
With the module "Plastics in Medical Technology", held by a development manager from industry, medical technology students are offered a particularly focused lecture in addition to the other cross-industry modules. Building on the lecture "Plastics Technology - Introduction and Fundamentals", students in this specialization subject - depending on their wishes - acquire skills in production technology, (bio)materials and/or the plastic products made from them. In addition to in-depth lectures, exercises, seminars and practicals are also offered.
