Since July 2021, the University of Stuttgart has an official podcast in English entitled "Made in Science". The podcast host is Dr. Wolfgang Holtkamp, Senior Advisor International Affairs at the University of Stuttgart.
Mr. Holtkamp regularly meets with scientists, alumnae and alumni, staff and students at the University of Stuttgart. The conversations are not only about the current work of the interview guest, but also about their personality, inspiration and career.
In the latest episode, entitled "Science has to learn to adopt its way of communication", Wolfgang Holtkamp talks to Prof. Dr. Thomas Graf. He is Swiss and the director of the Institut für Strahlwerkzeuge (IFSW) at the University of Stuttgart since 2004. Among other things, they talk about the role of lasers in our everyday lives and why they are the universal tool of the future.
